How to create a job request?

Creating a job request is the first step in the hiring process. The following job opening and search for the candidates depends on the detailed filling of the job description. So, to do it quickly and efficiently, follow this instruction:
Step 1 - Moving to the job request
As you have logged in to your Axterior account, click the Job requests tab in the left column. You’ll see the table of all your job requests with their statuses.
Click the Create button in the top right corner. You’ll get the full form for job request creation.

Step 2 - Filling the creation form
Axterior provides the filling form with the most essential points for a job brief. Fill all the fields with the required information.
Although the platform suggests much information in the dropdown fields, we recommend thoroughly filling all the fields that are necessary for your vacancy. Pay special attention to the job description part. The more information you provide, the higher chances of finding the best-fit candidate are.
Some tips from our specialists:
- When specifying the required skills, focus on the main tasks of the employee. Don't forget to indicate whether it will be a job with frequent communication with the team and clients, or a monotonous job that requires a focused person.
- Specify the exact salary range, without exaggerating it. We advise you to make preliminary research within the company, if there are similar positions, or to make brief market research.
Also, don’t forget to assign an approver, for example, the HR Manager for the requested job. You can choose an approver in the dropdown list of the Approver field. At the stage of company Axterior onboarding, you can customize the number of approvers depending on your company structure.


Step 3 - Saving the job
After you have carefully entered all the important details, click the Save button. The job is saved and assigned a Draft status.
After this job is assigned a draft status, the assigned approvers get a notification to check and approve it. If the request is approved, this job task passes to the recruiter and they get a notification about vacancy opening.
